Kroon-Oil introduces Xantis MSP 5W-30
Kroon-Oil is expanding its product range with the introduction of Xantis MSP 5W-30, a high-quality motor oil specially developed for vehicles from Stellantis (PSA, Opel and FCA), where the latest Stellantis specification FPW9.55535/03 is required.
Xantis MSP 5W-30 is a synthetic and fuel-saving motor oil that perfectly suits modern petrol and diesel engines, including vehicles with particulate filters and catalytic converters. Thanks to the Mid-SAPS technology, this oil provides optimal protection against Low-Speed Pre Ignition (LSPI) and extends the life of particulate filters and catalytic converters.
This brings Xantis MSP 5W-30 the following benefits:
- Compatible in vehicles from Stellantis where FPW9.55535/03 is prescribed
- Excellent protection against LSPI (Low-Speed Pre Ignition)
- Less accumulation of combustion residues due to reduced SAPS levels
- Fuel saving
Important!
Using oil with the Stellantis FPW9.55535/03 specification positively affects reliability for DV5 1.5 Blue HDI diesel engines and EB2 1.2 Puretech Turbo petrol engines. Therefore, Stellantis has changed the recommendations for these engines, and only the new FPW9.55535/03 5W-30 motor oil has been prescribed.
Our product advice has been adjusted accordingly:
- For vehicles, we explicitly prescribe only Xantis MSP 5W-30; other oils are not allowed.
- For vehicles where an alternative to Xantis MSP 5W-30 is mentioned, our advice is not mandatory, and other options are possible.
In addition, this product is also suitable for various PSA, Mercedes, and GM models where one of the following specifications is prescribed: PSA B71 2290, B71 2297 (hot climates), MB 229.31/229.51/229.52, and GM Dexos 2.
